YMCA BLUE RIDGE ASSEMBLY DINING ROOM Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
All meals are served buffet style in the main dining room of BRA. For weekend participants the first meal will be a traditional Thanksgiving dinner buffet on Thursday evening. Breakfast is served Friday-Sunday, typically eggs, bacon/sausage, and grits/hashbrowns, with fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads and pastries to choose from. Lunches and dinners are served with a full salad bar. The facility does its best to accommodate special diets like vegan and gluten free. Please indicate your needs on the registration form. We do advise people with restrictions to pack a few snacks in case any meals lack in options.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE Adult, Youth & Kid Classes
ADULT CLASSES: Dance classes in International, American squares and Contras will be taught by professional instructors from across the country. Dance leaders also instruct the youth dance classes, enabling the youth to more fully participate in the evening dance parties. The morning schedule for adults with the option of Folk Art classes is available HERE. During the second part of the morning there are four choices including more dancing! Sign up information will come with your confirmation letter after you register. CHILDREN'S CLASSES AND CHILD CARE: Children ages 5 to 18 will enjoy mornings of crafts, dance and games. Children under 5 participate in various activities during the morning, in a day care environment. Staff is also on hand to monitor children during the evening dance party, once they have been put to bed.

SPEND YOUR DOWN TIME DOING WHAT YOU WANT! Relax, Explore, Hike & More
The time between lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday is full of options. You can stay on campus and participate in Afternoon Options. These options often highlight this region of Appalachia. Options range from outdoor cooking, craft classes, guided hikes with history lessons, outdoor field games and more. Also on campus there is a play park for little ones, a fun disc-golf course, and many hikes. Some campers find it best to just take a nap! If campers choose, they can leave campus and head into Black Mountain or Asheville. They both have a wonderful selection of shops, arts, restaurants, breweries and hikes.
