Explore the Area
There are so many places to explore while you are here at Folk Camp. Downtown Black Mountain offers craft stores, a knitting shop, longstanding Town Hardware, a bookstore, a brand new toy store and several breweries and eateries.
If you want to venture off a little bit the Blue Ridge Parkway is only about 7 miles away for a nice drive through the mountains. You could go into Asheville (20 minutes drive) for the afternoon with it's variety of areas to explore - downtown, River Arts District, Biltmore Estates and so much more!
